Most straightforward visits take around 15 minutes. Unusual or specialist items can take longer because a careful valuation matters more than a rushed one.

You don't need to know in advance — that's what we test for. We use acid testing, magnetic testing, and (for higher-value pieces) electronic XRF testing. If you want to check at home first, look for a karat stamp (9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, 24ct, or 375/585/750/916/999). Stamps can be faked, which is why we still test in store.
