We price against the live gold spot rate (per gram, per karat) on the day of sale. The rate moves constantly — we check the spot at the moment we weigh and test your gold. What we offer is what it's worth on the day. We show you the math, you decide if it works.
Do you buy broken or damaged gold jewellery?
Yes. We buy gold for melt value, so condition doesn't matter. Broken chains, single earrings, snapped necklaces, melted wedding bands — if it's real gold, we'll weigh and test it and make you an offer.
What karat gold do you buy?
All of it. 9ct, 10ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, 24ct. We test with acid in front of you, weigh on calibrated scales, and price per gram against the live spot. Each karat is priced separately.
Do you buy gold coins and bullion?
Yes. Perth Mint, krugerrands, sovereigns, Canadian Maples, American Eagles, gold bars from 1g to 1kg. We price against the live spot plus a small premium for recognised coins and bars. Bring the coin or bar in and we'll quote on the spot.
How do I know my gold is real?
You don't need to know in advance — that's what we test for. We use acid testing, magnetic testing, and (for higher-value pieces) electronic XRF testing. If you want to check at home first, look for a karat stamp (9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, 24ct, or 375/585/750/916/999). Stamps can be faked, which is why we still test in store.
