It depends. If it's gold, we buy it for melt value regardless of condition. If it's signed and contains precious stones, we evaluate the stones separately and the metal separately. A broken Cartier gold bracelet still has gold value; the signed premium only applies if it's in good condition.

Three components: (1) the gold or platinum melt value at live spot, (2) any precious stones (diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds) valued separately, and (3) the designer premium for signed pieces in good condition. We add them all up and show you the math.
